Oscar Isberian Rugs was one of the destinations for a fun evening of “Progressive Products.” ASID of Illinois and The River North Design District hosted the event on May 16 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Guests enjoyed progressive food and wine pairings from sparkling whites and appetizers to port and desserts as they preview new collections from participating showrooms. Members who attend all six showrooms will be entered to win a $500 gift certificate for the Peninsula Spa.
We are thrilled to see three of our rugs included in HOUSE BEAUTIFUL's Lake Michigan house installation, impeccably designed by Martin Horner of Soucie Horner. We can help make your house a showplace, too!

Domotex is the worlds largest exhibition of rugs, carpets and all types of floor coverings.
Held in Hannover, Germany (similar snow and cold as Chicago), Sevak and I felt at home.

Oscar Tatosian and Sevak Alaverdyan will be heading to Hanover, Germany to attend Domotex, the leading floor covering trade show in the world. The fair will take place January 12-15, 2013.

This year Oscar Isberian Rugs changed things by holding our Holiday party off site. For most of our 92 years we have held the party at our Evanston location, but this year we headed to a brand new club in Evanston 27 Live.

Sevak Alaverdyan, Oscar Tatosian and Sarkis Tatosian represented Oscar Isberian Rugs at this year’s DIFFA Dining by Design. Oscar Isberian Rugs sponsored a table which was beautifully designed and executed by Kaufman Segal Design.
Please join us for a special evening on Wednesday November 7, 2012 at 6pm when we will be unveiling two assemblages of rugs.
The first will be the 7 award winning rugs designed by students at The Harrington College of Design. These rugs were the top designs in a competition between the students. The top 7 patterns were then woven in Nepal by Oscar Isberian Rugs and will be auctioned off for scholarships.
