Soap and Cold Water Cleaning
Rugs which are particularly soiled, have diminished colors,
show traffic patterns or matted pile are best served with this
process. Traditional Indian, Pakistani and Persian carpets are
revitalized after a Soap & Water wash as the soaking in 3-4
inches of water flushes all the dust from between the knots.
This is the most thorough cleaning process.
Rug is rinsed on both sides with cold water
A mild yet effective soap is distributed on all surfaces
then rug is scrubbed with rotary brush and by hand where
necessary
Rug is thoroughly rinsed again
Rug is fed through Wringer to extract excess water
Rug is sent on conveyer system to hang until completely dry
under controlled temperature
Once completely dry, all Rugs are thoroughly inspected by

Steam Cleaning
Rugs with silk threads, cashmere, cotton or various delicate
fibers are recommended for this process. In addition, rugs with
only a few spots, not terribly soiled or with delicate pile are
best served with steam cleaning.

Hand Cleaning
Tapestries, all silk rugs, aubusson rugs, cotton, jute or hemp
rugs are best cleaned by hand. Although not as thorough as
washing, this process is less impactful on delicate fibers.
